I have now succeeded in obtaining the aesthetic that I wanted for this doll when I purchased her. The La Dee Da dolls are some of the most appealing doll designs I have ever seen (to me, in any case) but that is purely the doll itself. I couldn’t give a crap about modern fashion so when I purchased her it was always my intention to give her a classier, more Victorian-esque feel.
The wig I purchased from Luts (much prettier, all pink with soft ringlets instead of the bleached-blond crimped hair the doll came with) and the dress from Sofia on Etsy. (Which is GORGEOUS and wonderfully made, such incredibly good workmanship)
So excited to have it all come together and she looks fantastic!
So I took her outside today to take some pics, and here they are 🙂
